Jensen Hughes announces merger with Gryphon Investors
Baltimore-based Jensen Hughes has merged with Gryphon Investors, a middle-market private equity firm in San Francisco. Financial terms of the transaction were not made public.
Gryphon will provide Jensen Hughes with new investment capital and business expertise. Jensen Hughes officials said this will help the company to continue providing clients with safety solutions through a growing global network of technical experts while also offering specialty engineering services.
According to Jensen Hughes CEO Phil Rogers, the partnership with Gryphon is a perfect match for the company's next stage of growth.
"Jensen Hughes has the most talented team of technical professionals in our profession and our mission is advancing the science of safety,” said Rodgers. “In order to accomplish this goal for every client on every project anywhere in the world, we need the financial backing and professional expertise an investment leader like Gryphon can provide."
