IEX USA to showcase insulation technologies
As the global industrial demand for insulation materials and technologies rises, the first trade show for technical insulation will launch. IEX USA, an international market for insulation materials, will take place October 27-28, 2015, in Rosemont, IL.
Some 75 companies from nine nations will participate in IEX USA at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center to showcase the potential of implementing energy-saving features. The exhibition spectrum ranges from insulation materials and systems for technical thermal and cold insulation to products for acoustic insulation and preventive fire protection to tools, equipment, measuring instruments, software solutions, and more.
In addition to major players of the U.S. insulation technology industry, such as Armacell, Irex Contracting Group, Johns Manville, Owens Corning, Rock Wool Manufacturing, and Roxul Technical Insulation, numerous companies from the insulation materials industry will travel to IEX USA from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Finland. Hundreds of visitors — including plant engineers, facility managers, architects, construction engineers, insulation industry executives, and insulation manufacturers and fabricators — are expected to attend the show.
The trade show is organized by Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with the National Insulation Association (NIA).

According to show organizers, IEX USA will offer a peak into a dynamic market. North America, with total industry sales of $10.7 billion in 2014 already represents the largest market for technical insulation materials worldwide. And prospects are great for additional growth, according to the National Insulation Association (NIA). The trade group expects the market to grow to a volume of $11.4 billion in 2015 and $12.3 billion by 2016 with an additional $275 million in 2015 for the U.S. laminated metal building insulation market.
Two special forums will be presented at the show: the IEX Learning Theater and the IEX Product Showcase. The IEX Learning Theater, sponsored by Armacell, will feature 14 presentations by industry professionals on topics such as materials, insulation systems, and calculation software. The IEX Product Showcase is a special presentation area featuring selected exhibitor highlights for visitors to explore.
The NIA Fall Summit, with more than 180 in attendance, will take place October 26-28, and will coincide with IEX USA. The Fall Summit will focus on the business of the industry and association, offer presentations on current industry-related topics, include discussions on the latest industry issues, and provide information on business growth and improved productivity.
Immediately following the Fall Summit, NIA is offering its Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (IEAP) training course on October 29-30, rounding out a full week of training, educational, and networking events that attendees can customize to fit their business needs and schedules.
