Commissioning association endorses AHR Expo
AHR Expo management has announced that the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) has become the 38th organization to endorse the HVACR event.
With nearly 1,200 members and ten chapters throughout North America, BCA is dedicated to creating and supporting the standards for the commissioning profession. Through professional development programs, nationally recognized certifications, tools and market outreach, the BCA has earned its leadership role in accelerating best practices and promoting cross-industry collaboration.
“We are pleased to welcome BCA as an endorsing association. Commissioning services can help building owners achieve greater value for their investments in energy efficiency and building performance,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company (IEC), which produces and manages the AHR Expo. “It is a growing segment of the HVACR industry that impacts both our attendees and exhibitors. In fact, according to a recent report from Pike Research, the annual market value of these services is expected to double from $2.2 billion in 2012 to $4.4 billion in 2020.”
“As the leading event for engineers, facility managers, contractors and other HVACR professionals, AHR Expo allows us the opportunity to promote cross-industry collaboration,” added Liz Fischer, BCA’s executive director.
