LG Electronics names new director of distribution sales

Industry News
December 8, 2014

LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc., has named Dale Fields to the new position of director of distribution sales for its Air Conditioning Systems business.

Fields has more than 20 years of Fortune 500 sales leadership experience spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia with such organizations as Mitsubishi Electric, Barksdale Control Products, and Generac Power Systems. In his new role, Fields will head LG’s air conditioning systems wholesale distribution sales team.

“The addition of Dale to our sales team will help us continue LG’s growth trajectory as a world-class organization that provides superior customer service,” said Kevin McNamara, vice president of LG Air Conditioning, LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. “Dale has the proven track record of success we strive to maintain here at LG, and we’re confident he will provide unparalleled support for our channel partners and a greater focus on developing industry-leading, energy efficient technologies for the U.S. market.”

As director of distribution sales, Fields will be responsible for LG’s residential home comfort solutions and light commercial systems products. Prior to joining LG, he worked as senior director of national accounts for Mitsubishi Electric from 2008 through 2014. Fields was a key member of executive leadership responsible for developing and implementing business, sales, and partnership strategies for emerging VRF HVAC technologies.

His industry experience includes developing and executing strategies targeting national accounts, utilities, energy service companies, and contractor groups. Fields earned his master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and his bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA.
