NEBB schedules retro-commissioning seminar, exam
The National Environmental Balancing Bureau will offer its Technical Retro-Commissioning Seminar and Exam, April 20-22, 2015, in Honolulu, HI. According to NEBB, retro-commissioning (RCx) is a significant business opportunity for engineering and commissioning firms correcting under-performing buildings, improving indoor environment and comfort, and optimizing energy usage for aging facilities.
The three day seminar will provide an overview of the NEBB Technical Retro-Commissioning Program, an introduction to the technical RCx process, investigation process best practices, energy calculations, marketing RCx services, and more.
All seminar participants need to have working knowledge of the NEBB Procedural Standards for Retro-Commissioning of Existing Buildings. Participants should also be familiar with the NEBB Design Phase Commissioning Handbook for HVAC Systems before attending the seminar.
