Victaulic announces hydronic balancing seminars

Industry News
March 24, 2014

Victaulic and Tour & Andersson (TA) have scheduled new dates for their series of hydronic balancing seminars known as the TA Hydronic College.

The new seminar topic, “Energy Insights-Optimizing Hydronic Systems for Energy Savings,” offers insights into how to save energy in HVAC systems. It features four modules including energy savings in production units, energy savings in distribution, energy savings through precise room temperature control, and real examples and case studies.

According to Victaulic, 40% of the world’s energy is consumed by buildings, with 50% of a building’s energy typically used to power its HVAC systems. Through insights from first-hand experience, the seminar will aim to guide participants in how to reduce energy consumption by an average of 30%

Upcoming 2014 seminar dates and locations are as follows:

• April 8 – Chicago

• April 10 – Washington, D.C.

• April 14 – Seattle

• April 16 – Atlanta

• September 16 – Ottawa, Canada

The seminar is free, but seating is limited. For more information about the events or to register, visit www.victaulicbalancingseminars.com.

Smarter Hydronic Design for Data Centers

On Demand Instead of relying on large centralized pumps and restrictive balancing/control valves, distributed pumping uses packaged pumping systems and smart circulators located closer to the point of demand.
