UK association to bring building research to AHR Expo

Industry News
August 26, 2013

The Building Services Research and Information Association has become the newest endorsing association of the 2014 AHR Expo. As part of the new relationship, BSRIA will give a major presentation on the latest trends and drivers in the marketplace with a specific focus on the HVAC market for AC, heating, renewable, and intelligent building control technologies.

The UK-based, non-profit association offers a wide range of services to help companies improve the design, build, and operation of buildings around the world. The association also offers a blend of product testing and market research designed to help manufacturers gain the relevant certification and plan their marketing strategy. BSRIA has regional construction compliance offices in North America, China, Germany, France, Spain and the UK, and works with associates in Japan, Brazil, Australia, and Northern Ireland.

“We are very pleased to welcome BSRIA as one of our industry-leading endorsing associations,” said Clay Stevens, president of the International Exposition Co., which produces and manages the AHR Expo. “As an organization that promotes best practices in construction and effective operation of buildings, we believe they will bring tremendous value to AHR Expo attendees.”

In addition to making their presentation as part of the AHR Expo educational program, BSRIA will also host a booth on the show floor. BSRIA joins 32 other industry associations, co-sponsors ASHRAE and AHRI, and honorary sponsor HRAI in endorsing the show. A complete list of the other AHR Expo endorsing associations is available by going here.

The 2014 AHR Expo will be held Jan. 21-23 in New York City.
