Carrier Receives ASHRAE Innovation Awards
NEW YORK – Feb. 4, 2008 – Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), was honored with three ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Innovation Awards in New York City during the recent AHR (Air conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating) Expo.
Carrier’s Evergreen® 23XRV with Foxfire™ compression technology won in the category of “Green Building.” AquaForce® air-cooled chillers received honorable mention for the Cooling Award and the Aero™ 39M air handler with Agion™ technology also received an honorable mention for the Indoor Air Quality Award.
