Munters provides energy efficient, multifunctional HVAC systems for Wal-Mart
The Munters AHUs optimize the efficiency of the building by offering all three temperature modes in one complete package, providing year round energy efficient temperature control.
In their continued support of Wal-Mart's sustainability efforts, Munters has supplied high efficiency AHUs and an OASIS® system to compliment Wal-Mart's latest energy efficient store openings in Las Vegas.

The 10 Munters AHUs supplied to Wal-Mart Supercenter # 4356 provide multifunctional cooling and heating to meet the unique needs of the supermarket at all times. These units have three modes to adapt to year round temperatures to allow for more granularity of control. In the summer, the air handlers use 66°F fluid cooling coupled with a DX coil to provide innovative, energy efficient cooling. When the design conditions increase, or require further cooling, the unit switches to 45° chilled water cooling. In the winter, the unit switches to heating mode where 110° hot water is used to supply energy efficient

Munters supplied an innovative OASIS® system to Sam's Club # 4983. Munters OASIS® is an indirect evaporative cooling system for treating make-up air. The heat exchanger core incorporates unique, vertical polymer tubes that channel the outdoor air through the exchanger without coming in contact with water. This corrosion-resistant system provides cool, dry air to the store without refrigeration, using 50% less energy to treat the required 5,000 cfm of make-up air.
