Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. announced that the company has joined Crestron’s Integrated Partner Program and the availability of a new software module that gives Daikin’s VRV® customers and Crestron’s dealers the ability to manage their heating and cooling systems through Crestron’s line of controls.

Daikin’s Intelligent Touch Controller paired with their Web option allows Crestron Control System, featuring the certified communication module, to access Daikin’s advanced VRV technology which enables precise temperature control for each individual zone as well as high energy efficiency. The VRV system incorporates an electronic expansion valve, which continually controls the flow of refrigerant. Therefore as climate, lighting, and occupancy changes cause temperature and humidity to fluctuate, the technology continually adjusts to maintain the desired comfort level.
