Carrier Corporation acquires Longville Group Limited
Carrier Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.
announced that it has completed the acquisition of Longville Group
Limited. Terms of the deal were not
disclosed.
Longville is a leader in rental services of HVAC temperature controls and pumps, mainly marketed under NuTemp, SLD Pumps, and CRS brands. Longville employs 430 people and is headquartered in the United Kingdom with branches in the United States, France, Holland, Germany, Poland and Singapore.
“Longville brings with it sizable assets and technical expertise in the rental business, together with strong customer relationships. The combination of Carrier and Longville will allow us to provide a more comprehensive range of products and services,” said Kelly Romano, president, Building Systems and Services, Carrier Corp. "We are building on our existing and attractive rental service business by adding scale in the United States and by expanding into Europe."
