Danfoss embraces vision for engineering new solutions to energy and environmental challenges

June 13, 2006

Danfoss has launched a far-reaching EnVisioneeringSM approach focused on bringing higher levels of engineering innovation and collaboration to the challenges of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility for its customers in the industries in which they operate.

Joe Orosz, president of Danfoss Turbocor and former president of Danfoss Commercial Compressors stated, "Our customers today are facing pressure to be more energy efficient and environmentally responsible. Danfoss is a natural partner to help them respond proactively with the right technology to meet and exceed challenges including 13 SEER, rising energy costs, new DOE and EPA requirements, U.S. Green Building Council guidelines, LEED design criteria and requirements of the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005, to name a few."

Danfoss also will convene a forum to explore global issues, trends and technologies affecting the HVACR industry and to help foster solutions to the primary challenges of global energy demand and emissions. "Ultimately, we expect this program to help the industry create a ‘roadmap' to viable technical solutions to some of its most pressing problems," Orosz noted.
