Intellidyne LLC recently announced it has received a grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) for IntelliCon®, the company's line of energy saving devices for residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. The $85,000 grant, to be matched by Intellidyne, will allow for a testing program that will enable Intellidyne to work in conjunction with NYSERDA and Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The focus of the program will be to study, on a larger scale, the benefits of the controls, which have already been proven to reduce energy consumption by an average of 15-20%.
