YORK International Corporation has extended the capacity of its MAXE™ model YD centrifugal chillers to 4,750 tons, providing the HVAC industry with the largest-capacity, single-package chiller using HFC-134a. This increases the chiller's previous capacity by 75% while maintaining excellent efficiencies. Its compact footprint can be as much as 50% smaller than chillers of comparable capacity.
