NEOS Fluor, a leading manufacturer of HFC 134a, recently announced a significant new investment in KLEA 125 (HFC 125) manufacture at its Runcorn, U. facility, to expand the company's production capacity to 30.8 million lbs. The increase, which is in response to high demand for alternatives to HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbon) refrigerants, will be commissioned in two phases, the first being completed by April 2005.
