Vance Air Force Base (VAFB), located in Oklahoma, recently executed a comprehensive energy services performance contract with Oklahoma Natural Gas and Custom Energy (Overland Park, KS). Custom Energy, in partnership with Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG), is helping VAFB meet the standards for energy usage reduction as mandated by the federal government. VAFB remains at the top of its peer group in meeting those standards and reducing energy costs. These measures are guaranteed to save VAFB over $64,000 in energy costs annually over the next 10 years.
