ViryaNet recently announced that Publix Supermarkets, Inc. (Lakeland, FL) finalized an agreement to acquire the ViryaNet Service Hub application set. The Publix win will help strengthen ViryaNet's initiatives into the grocery/retail space. Publix selected ViryaNet for its Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) initiative. This initiative is aimed at Publix's internal and external service organization, which manages the maintenance of each store's infrastructure (bakery equipment, display cases, hvac, etc.) as well as new store construction activities.
