The ACCA has certified over 100 contractors in its Quality Assured program since its launch in February, officials announced.

“We are extremely pleased with the response from contractors to this new program over such a short period of time,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, Air Conditioning Contractors of America president and CEO. “We knew this program would be popular because it supports Energy Star for New Homes Version 3, but the initial response has shown us that contractors are eager to participate in programs that hold them accountable for the quality of their work. We believe the QA program raises the bar for contractors and will encourage more contractors to follow the Quality Installation standard, ultimately making the HVACR industry more professional.”
