Hranec Sheet Metal Inc. has launched its new gasketed fitting. This gasketed spiral duct system prevents air leakage and is self-sealing. The company says the fitting will save money by reducing installation time and eliminating joint sealing. It features a double-lip EPDM rubber gasket, held in place with a 180-degree hemmed edge that provides an airtight seal. The product is ideal for concealed, exposed, and architecturally exposed applications. Hranec’s self-sealing gasketed duct is available for projects from 4 inches up to 46 inches. The company also makes many other ductwork related items such as roof curbs, equipment rails, round and square access doors, and sticky taps.
