Philip Dana Wohltman, 61, died Nov. 29, 2010, in the Phoenix area after a year-long fight with cancer. He graduated from Baker University with a degree in business, and started work for Coleman Co. in Washington State, eventually transferring to Phoenix. Most recently he was a regional sales manager for the Johnson Controls’ York, Coleman, and Luxaire brands. He was named Coleman’s Regional Sales Manager of the Year in 2002. “Phil earned the respect of his customers and peers by having the courage to stand up for what he felt was right,” said Andy Rowland, vice president-sales, western region, Johnson Controls Unitary Products. “I learned a lot from Phil about the HVAC industry, but even more about being true to yourself and your beliefs.”

Wohltman was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Wohltman, in 1980, and brother Brad Wohltman in 1981.He is survived by his wife Marsha; their four children (Mindy Johnston, and Matthew, Morgan, and Molly Wohltman); mother Betty Wohltman; and sisters Nancy Clark and Robin Caulkins.

He requested that his body be donated for cancer research and cremated, and that there would be no funeral service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) in lieu of flowers.
