American Standard Sponsors American Lung Association Of Ohio's Clean Air Challenge
CLEVELAND, OH — American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning’s Cleveland-area distributor, Wolff Brothers, was the lead sponsor of the Clean Air Challenge, which took place on June 23 at Cleveland's Burke Lakefront Airport. An annual event organized by the American Lung Association of Ohio, the Clean Air Challenge raises money for and generates awareness of chronic lung diseases and the effects of air quality on lung health. More than 1.8 million Ohioans live with chronic lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis, and nearly 15,000 of those people die each year as a result.
The all-day event included a 5K walk, 5K competitive run, and bike tours of 12.5 and 30 miles through Cleveland with more than 550 area resident participants.
