Matt Bahr
Matt Bahr began his professional career in the mechanical and plumbing industry as a territory sales manager for Victaulic. For two years, he called on customers across northern Texas, growing sales in the region by 33% and managing key accounts for major players across the state such as Brandt Engineering, TD Industries, and Polk Mechanical.
Bahr’s ability to articulate the value of his products caught the eye of Uponor North America's sales team. He was hired at Uponor in 2014 and served as a technical sales manager for the west region, covering a four-state region, including his home state of California. In his first year at Uponor, he grew sales by more than 20% while focusing on collaborating with customers to establish relationships for future business opportunities.
After just two years with Uponor, he began his rapid ascent up the leadership ladder. In 2016, Bahr took the reins as business development manager, where he called on the company's top 100 plumbing and mechanical contractors in the west region.
In December 2022, Bahr was promoted to vice president of sales, where he has made an immediate impact on the organization. He is the youngest member of North America’s senior leadership in Uponor’s history.
“My careers goals are to continue to partner with our customers across wholesale distribution, plumbing, and HVAC to improve the sustainable efficiency of their product installations,” Bahr said. “Uponor continues to develop technologies that will transform our built environment, and I am excited to bring these innovations to our customers.”
