Lincoln Electric offers online curriculum
Welding and sheet metal forming equipment manufacturer Lincoln Electric has introduced “U/Linc,” a ready-to-use online curriculum.
It includes videos, handouts, assessment tests and presentations so that school instructors can spend more time teaching sheet metal works techniques and less time preparing lessons, Lincoln Electric officials said.
“The era of stand-alone DVDs and textbooks is coming to an end,” said Jason Scales, Lincoln Electric’s manager of educational services. “We can deliver a specific lesson plan and matching student or presentation materials over the web and update the files immediately whenever welding or teaching advances require a change.
