Original equipment manufacturers, service technicians, refrigeration contractors, authorized wholesalers, and exporters world-wide associate the AE/AE2 and AW product brand names with Tecumseh — an association that Tecumseh is protecting.
Bradford White Water Heaters, provider of the AeroTherm™ Series Heat Pump Water Heater, has completed an agreement to acquire production assets from the heat pump water heater operations of GE Appliances (GEA), a Haier company.
MiTek Industries Inc. (MiTek), a diversified, global business supplying a wide range of engineered products; proprietary business management and design software; and automated equipment to the construction and industrial markets, announced that it has added Mark Thom to its leadership as the new CEO. The Wrench Group, a home maintenance and repair company specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical services, announced the acquisition of Baker Brothers in a deal aimed at expanding its presence in the Dallas market.
Entech Sales and Service Inc. announced they are acquiring Oklahoma City-based Logical Building Solutions Inc. Entech will merge all assets and operations of LBS into its existing business structure. Entech’s new Oklahoma City office will operate under the name Logical Building Systems.

The Chemours Co., a global chemistry company in titanium technologies, fluoroproducts, and chemical solutions, announced that it has broken ground on a new HFO-1234yf production facility. The new facility, located at the Chemours Corpus Christi plant in Ingleside, Texas, will triple the company’s capacity for its HFO-1234yf-based-products, which are low-global warming potential (GWP) and better for the environment.
