William Sutton recognized as Certified Healthcare Constructor

Mowery announced that the American Hospital Association Certification Center (AHA-CC) has designated Project Manager William Sutton as a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC). The CHC is a national credential that distinguishes an individual as being among an elite group of over 900 health care construction professionals who currently hold the certification.

Memorandum of understanding outlines mutual advancement

ASHRAE and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Under the agreement, ASHRAE and KFAS will look for ways to work together in research, conferences and meetings, training programs, and chapter collaboration. Additionally, ASHRAE and KFAS will explore the possibility of translating ASHRAE publications to Arabic as well as coproducing books and other publications.
Charlie Yerger’s initial degree was not predictive of what turned out to be his passion. He turned a degree in EMS/Paramedicine into a career of working with HVAC control systems. His HVAC career started as an installation foreman for a controls contractor, which led to working as a technician for a large residential and commercial HVAC contractor in central Texas. In 2006 Yerger joined Johnson Controls Inc. as a systems technician on a major projects team, doing service work in specialized building systems areas.
