PHOENIX - Dallas-based TDIndustries announced that it has acquired JBS Mechanical in Phoenix as part of the firm’s overall growth strategy in the state of Arizona. JBS Mechanical’s revenues are $2.2 million annually. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

According to Ed White, general manager of TDIndustries in Phoenix, “We believe that the greater Phoenix area is poised for growth, and this acquisition enables us to support that growth. JBS is a respected HVAC service contractor with loyal customers and a 20-year track record of service to this community. Our mutual business values and company cultures are a great match.”

TDIndustries CEO Harold MacDowell said, “We reviewed a wide range of firms and honed in on their company cultures as a decisive factor. Our long-held servant leadership philosophy exemplifies how we conduct business. We wanted to associate with an equally customer-focused firm in Phoenix.”

JBS Mechanical specializes in commercial and industrial HVAC systems and has a client roster of owner-occupied facilities, especially financial institutions. JBS president and co-owner Robert Stinger will remain with TDIndustries as a senior sales executive. Stinger said, “TDIndustries has an outstanding reputation for its people and its service capabilities. We know our customers will value this new relationship and are excited about the future of this market and our ability to grow with it.”
