Oct. 19, 2010: ServiceCEO Field Service Software Offers New Customer Portal and Scheduling Assistant

BOSTON - ServiceCEO (formerly known as Insight Direct), a leading provider of field service management software, has announced a new release of ServiceCEO Web Edition that now includes a Customer Portal and a Scheduling Assistant using Google Maps™.

According to the company, ServiceCEO Web Edition is a software-as-a-service application that helps field service businesses manage daily operations more efficiently by automating sales, estimating, scheduling, dispatching, billing, and marketing. The software is used by service companies in such fields as HVAC, plumbing, and more.

The Customer Portal feature in the new release allows service businesses to provide their customers with a branded online portal where they can request service, pay bills, and see their service history online.

“With the Customer Portal, field service companies are now open for business 24/7. The Portal helps service companies provide a world-class experience to their customers and offers a clear competitive advantage in winning new business,” said Jim Triandiflou, chief executive officer of ServiceCEO.

The new Scheduling Assistant using Google Maps displays all current and future jobs by closest proximity to the new job that the dispatcher needs to get on the schedule. It then calculates drive time and schedules the job with an appropriate start time and assigns the nearest field service personnel.

“With the new Scheduling Assistant, it has never been easier to decrease windshield time and increase billable hours. Our customers will be able to get at least one more billable hour per day from each one of their techs dropping straight to the bottom line,” said Christopher Chapman, chief operating officer of ServiceCEO.

ServiceCEO Web Edition is available with subscriptions starting at $99 per month. For more information, visit www.serviceceo.com.
