At a Sept. 7 ceremony in Tulsa, Oklahoma, representatives from Greenheck, the city of Tulsa, the state of Oklahoma, and the Cherokee Nation were on hand for the groundbreaking of Greenheck’s new Tulsa campus.
After a search of multiple sites in the south-central U.S., Greenheck has selected Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the development of a new campus that will house manufacturing and distribution for several of the company’s products and brands.
As part of its commitment to extend the society’s global reach and better support its membership, ASHRAE announced the formation of a new ASHRAE Region in Europe — Region XIV. With this new region will also come a new chapter in Ireland, which will be vitally important for industry collaboration throughout Europe.
Uponor North America is expanding its manufacturing facility in Apple Valley, Minnesota, with completion expected by January 2018. The $17.4 million investment will be used toward the expansion of an additional 58,000 square feet to increase manufacturing capacity to meet customer demand. This is the 10th expansion since Uponor began operations in Apple Valley in 1990. The most recent expansion took place in 2016 when the company invested $18 million and added 88,000 square feet to its manufacturing facility.
