EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. - The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) is offering $14,000 in scholarship funds in 2007 to the oil heat industry. These scholarships are available to anyone, provided that they would like to further their education within the field of oil heating. Scholarships will be awarded to the winning entrants who write and submit a 500-word essay answering the question, "What are your goals and why do you wish to better yourself within the oil heating industry?"

After review by a panel of independent judges, seven people will be awarded $2,000 scholarships. These scholarships have been made possible with support of Delavan Inc. and the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Fund, founded to honor industry educator Dave Nelsen who passed away in 1998.
