The DirectSense IAQ PPC is a pocket PC-based system that makes possible accurate measurement of principal IAQ parameters and permits extensive information to be input into the portable computer from the measurement locations, the company says. Airspeed, temperature, relative humidity, CO, and CO2, as well as other information, can be logged and displayed. Data can be obtained instantaneously during a walkthrough or on timed intervals over a matter of hours, days, weeks, or months. The individual location files can also have text notes, audio notes, MicroSoft Word templates, graphic notes, and calibration information; storage of CAD-CAM drawings, GPS data, digital photos, and other data is offered as an optional feature. Desktop PC software is supplied for analysis and reporting of data gathered in the field by the DirectSense IAQ PPC.
