Estimate 6.0 is a software program that allows an HVAC mechanical contractor or design-build engineer to create job cost estimates that include equipment pricing, labor costs, subcontractor costs, and other items. It includes a database of pricing for over 50,000 parts from various manufacturers. This information can be accessed from the estimate input spreadsheet so that the user can quickly create cost estimates, the company says. After the estimate has been completed, it can be exported to a custom Microsoft® Word or Excel proposal template. The program integrates with LoadSoft 6.0, Residential 5.0, and Duct Size 6.0, allowing it to extract parts and equipment information from these programs and create a final cost estimate for load calculation and duct design projects.
