Dec. 6, 2004: Johnson Controls To Upgrade City Of Tallahassee Facilities
MILWAUKEE - The city of Tallahassee has awarded Johnson Controls Inc. a $1 million energy performance contract that is projected to reduce annual energy and operational expenditures by more than $200,000 per year over the next 12 years.
Mayor John Marks, City Manager Anita Favors, and members of the city's facilities management and energy services staff worked with Johnson Controls to plan a project that includes improvements to more than 50 of the city's buildings, including C.K. Steele Plaza, the Tallahassee Senior Center, and the Fourth Avenue and Dade Street Neighborhood Community Centers.
