The KPU pressure control was designed with input from installers and service technicians in order to make the controls easier to install and troubleshoot and more reliable, says the company. For installation, cable entry is from the bottom, aligned with the internal terminal strip, so no wire bending is required, states the manufacturer. The controls are shipped with a universal replacement bracket. For troubleshooting, the control can be tripped with the touch of a finger; no tools are required. According to the company, the shielded contacts are snap-action, to reduce contact welding and extend service life. A fan cycling version is part of the line. Maximum working pressure for low-pressure controls is 245 psig, and for high-pressure controls, 505 psig primary, or 675 psig for extended range versions.
