BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue Community College's (BCC’s) newest classroom building has installed waterless urinals, a geothermal heating and cooling system, and other environmentally friendly innovations, which are expected to save more than 4 million gallons of water, 24 million cu ft of natural gas, and $1 million in operating costs over the 30-yr depreciable life of the building, says Bellevue Community College.
The new “R” Building’s three-story classroom wing and two-story office wing will become the largest building on BCC's campus, with more than 29 classrooms and faculty/staff offices.
