ALPHARETTA, Ga. — LG Electronics U.S.A. Inc., Air Conditioning Systems division announced it is partnering with Baker Distributing Co. to distribute its HVAC products across six Western states.

More than 30 Baker locations will sell LG’s product line in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. With more than 65 years of business experience in the HVAC industry, Baker will market LG’s range of residential and light commercial products to contractors, architects, and engineers.

“This new partnership will allow us to provide LG with the quality service and recognition its industry-leading air conditioning systems deserve,” said Pete Thrash, president of Baker Distributing’s Western region. “We employ the most customer-service-oriented people who maintain essential knowledge of the HVAC industry that can move these products forward.”

LG said its residential and light commercial systems are designed to drive efficiency, performance, and comfort, allowing homeowners or building owners to cool or heat their entire space while reducing energy costs. Baker will sell the benefits of both LG duct-free and packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) systems to contractors, including easier maintenance and installation.

“As we continue to design new HVAC systems incorporating the industry’s most advanced technology, it’s important we enhance our distribution network in order to drive product awareness and cater to demand in key markets,” said Dale Fields, director of distribution sales, LG Electronics USA Air Conditioning Systems. “Baker maintains a trusted network that we’re confident will be extremely effective in further enhancing our growth in the region.”
