Jan. 15, 2014: Emerson to Present at AHRI Low-GWP AREP Conference
Session Will Review Compressor Tests with Low-GWP Refrigerants
ST. LOUIS — Emerson Climate Technologies announced that two of its engineers, Hung Pham and Autumn Nicholson, will present an educational session reviewing different compressor tests using low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants available for air conditioning and refrigeration applications at the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute’s (AHRI) Low-GWP Alternative Refrigerants Evaluation Program (AREP) Conference.
The presentation will take place on Jan. 16, 2014, in New York, prior to the start of the annual ASHRAE Winter Conference. AREP is an industry-wide cooperative research program that identifies and evaluates promising alternative refrigerants for major product categories, including air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, ice makers, and refrigeration equipment.
