FORT MYERS, Fla. — dESCO LLC was honored with the Horizon Council’s 2012 IT Industry Appreciation award for its leadership, innovation, and community spirit. Dean E. Schreiner accepted the award on behalf of dESCO on Friday, Sept. 21, at the Industry Appreciation Luncheon in Fort Myers, Fla.

Since its inception in 1980, dESCO has been at the forefront of new technologies and innovation to keep pace with evolving customer needs. The company was one of the first to release a mobile service management app giving customers access to important tools needed for a mobile workforce. ESC, dESCO’s flagship product, continues to rank very highly among service professionals as a management tool to track customers, dispatches, finances, service agreements, inventory, service history, and technicians. dESCO credits its success to hiring the right people, giving customers great support, making sound business decisions, and being flexible to take advantage of current times and technologies.

“We are very pleased to receive this award as we are truly proud of our history of superior products that over 6,000 service companies rely on today,” said Dean E. Schreiner, dESCO president. “dESCO is honored to be recognized by the Horizon Council, not only for our innovative solutions, but for our commitment to being a positive part of the communities where we do business. We look forward to bringing more big things to Lee County and continuing to develop the very best software solutions for the service industries.”
