The Draft Simulator from Draftrite LLC is designed to safely and accurately test pressure switches by simulating a draft inducer — no need for the furnace to be on. Previously, says the company, there hasn’t been a way to accurately test pressure switches to ensure proper functionality. It is also said to be the only tool to accurately calibrate adjustable pressure switches. And through the process of elimination, it can help prove or rule out the draft inducer and trap.
