WaterFurnace International Promotes Betz to Region Manager

Galen Betz

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - WaterFurnace International Inc., a leading manufacturer of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional geothermal and water source heat pumps, announced the promotion of Galen Betz to region manager for Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska, and eastern Iowa.

Betz began his career with WaterFurnace in 2004 as a territory manager with responsibility for sales in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The growth of the territory under his direction led to the need for a second territory manager who was hired in January and assigned to the Minnesota territory.

In April, Betz was honored with the Territory Manager of the Year award for producing exceptional sales growth in his territory, delivering unmatched customer support to his dealer base, and maintaining a “team player” attitude.

Phil Albertson, WaterFurnace’s vice president of residential sales and marketing, said, “I am confident Galen will utilize his skill and enthusiasm for his job and his ability to connect with people to effectively direct and motivate his staff to accomplish the same success he achieved as a territory manager.”

“I am ecstatic about this new opportunity to apply the knowledge and expertise I have gained in the field on a much grander scale,” Betz said. “I look forward to working with the territory managers in my region to build successful partnerships with the best HVAC contractors in the Northwest. As people become more energy conscience and aware of the benefits of geothermal heating and cooling, my staff and I will work tirelessly to support and grow the WaterFurnace brand.”
