Dec. 3, 2004: PowerCold Signs Marketing Agreement With WFI

LARGO, Fla. - PowerCold Corp. has announced the signing of a five-year sales and distribution agreement with WFI Global Commercial Solutions Group, a division of WFI Industries Ltd., for the marketing and sales of WFI's water-source heat pumps and geothermal technologies with PowerCold's HVAC systems.

WFI Global will support the relationship with promotional literature, technical specifications, performance software, and support services. Several national hotel, restaurant, and retail chains are targeted for joint marketing efforts that are expected to open the retrofit and remodel market for PowerCold. It is anticipated that the addition of the retrofit and remodel market will increase sales by approximately 30 percent.

Tony Cooper, president of WFI Global Commercial Solutions Group, stated, "We are very excited about this opportunity with PowerCold; we feel that the cooperation between our two companies will offer tremendous opportunities for both companies and provide energy saving, environmentally friendly HVAC options for our customers."

Robert Yoho, president of PowerCold ComfortAir Solutions, stated, "With WFI Global joining the PowerCold Alliance Partners, we can offer our customers a complete proprietary heat pump equipment package for hotels, health care facilities, office buildings, and condominiums. The units will carry the PowerCold name and we expect to generate substantial retrofit and remodel sales from this partnership."

The marketing agreement with WFI Global Commercial Solutions Group is the latest of several strategic alliances signed by PowerCold with HVAC suppliers, including York International Corp., Munters Corp., Amcot Cooling Tower Corp., Teletrol Systems Inc., ABB Automation Technologies, and OEMctrl Inc.
