Nortek debuts 3-phase unit
Nortek Global HVAC has introduced a three-phase packaged cooling unit to the HVAC market.
The P8SE delivers a 14 seasonal energy-efficiency rating in a 3- to 5-ton capacity, making it ideal for retail and restaurant HVAC construction operations, company officials say.
“What makes model P8SE unique is its two anti-corrosion coils,” said John Remley, Nortek Global HVAC product manager. “Both the condenser and evaporator coils are all-aluminum Micro-Channel, increasing corrosion resistance while reducing overall weight and the amount of R-410A refrigerant needed.”
The unit is available under the Mammoth and Reznor brands with convertible air delivery for rooftop or slab use. The new unit is made for retrofit or new HVAC construction, officials said.
