Venstar announced that the PizzaRev chain is using Venstar’s Wireless Temperature Sensors and ColorTouch touchscreen thermostats with Venstar’s Skyport™ Cloud Services to keep its stores cool and comfortable despite the use of 900-degree pizza ovens.
“Venstar’s Wireless Temperature Sensors and ColorTouch thermostats give us the ability to remotely manage and control energy usage and costs at our stores while keeping our customers comfortable,” said Jonathan Castillo, maintenance manager for PizzaRev.
Compatible with ColorTouch® and Explorer™ (formerly Voyager®) Wi-Fi residential and commercial thermostats, this wireless temperature sensor is designed to save energy while improving indoor comfort. It’s available throughout North America and can be used indoors or outdoors with the on-board sensor or an external sensor, such as the included duct sensor.
The NotifEye™ cloud-based monitoring and notification system is a low-cost wireless solution that is self-installable and ready to use out-of-the-box. The temperature and humidity sensors monitor and measure environmental conditions for optimal indoor air quality.
