Schneider Electric announced the completion of a $3.4 million infrastructure improvement project at four district schools at the Keystone Oaks School District in Pittsburgh. The project is expected to significantly improve classroom comfort and reduce annual energy and maintenance costs by 18 percent.

Ameresco Inc. announced that it has partnered with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) on a new energy savings project. The $3.9 million (CAD) comprehensive energy efficiency and facility renewal project at NRC research facilities is expected to save over $330,000 annually in utility costs.

SmartWatt Energy has completed a major sustainability project for wire rope manufacturer Bridon American at its Hanover, Pennsylvania, facility. UGI presented a $100,000 rebate check to Bridon American during an event at the facility.

Hawaii Energy is launching the Hawaii Energy Efficiency Auction. The auction is an open call for contractors, developers, energy efficiency solution providers, and others to submit qualified energy efficiency projects to compete for up to $2.1 million in incentive funds to offset project costs.
