Emerson’s AHR booth showcased its solutions and award-winning products in the areas of human comfort, cold chain, professional tools, and building infrastructure. It also featured the company’s 2019 Innovation Award winning product in the Refrigeration category — the Copeland Scroll™ fractional-horsepower, low-temperature compressor.
The upgrades began in 2015 and have allowed the company to enhance its Copeland® compressor remanufacturing capabilities while strengthening its OEM manufacturing operations. Since 2013, Emerson has invested $13 million in the plant.
Ohio tops Emerson’s list with more than 1,400 certified technicians, a competitive median salary, almost 9,000 openings, and eight accredited trade schools. California comes in second overall but tops the list when it comes to number of open positions (22,000), certified technicians, and the highest hourly wages.
Emerson has announced leadership changes to its air conditioning business, naming Shane Angle as vice president, sales & technical services for its Commercial and Residential Solutions platform, effective immediately.

Emerson announced it has launched supervisory control systems for large facilities to bring customers more control over their facility operation capabilities. Supervisory controls from Emerson allow for simple visibility and control over refrigeration, HVAC, lighting, and more.
