What’s the weather in your area like these days? Is it abnormally cool, extraordinarily warm, or is there snow forecasted in the coming days?

The weather isn’t what predicts how business will go in the next few months, but it sure seems to be a good indicator of what this summer’s sales might do. While traveling I heard one distributor sum this weather indicator up handily.

“I like the weather at the extremes, 92 and 32 degrees Fahrenheit,” he said. “That’s where the profit is.”

What the weather will do for certain, no one can really say. The WeatherBug Meteorology Team, however, has put together a 2013 U.S. Summer Season Forecast.

“While cities in the Mid-Atlantic are on track for typical summer weather this year, things will be heating up in places like St. Louis, Tennessee, west Texas, and Denver,” reported the team’s release. It also made a list of where the heat should be, which cities might be above normal, what states will likely be cooler, who is on track for normal temperatures, and if there will be any relief from the drought.

I live in Michigan and weather unpredictability is par for the course here. As for the rest of you, check out the WeatherBug report for what is predicted in your area. http://bit.ly/10CwNtP
