Sherlock Plumbing, Heating & Air chose UEI College as its first educational partner, offering a $500 scholarship to one HVAC student who demonstrated a commitment to excellence and maintaining a strong character.
Five University of Dayton students from the schools of engineering, business administration, and arts and sciences were each awarded $10,000 from Emerson.
A committee reviewed the applications submitted this year and actually increased the number and amount of the scholarships awarded to reflect the high quality of the applications received.
Through this year’s EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program, 20 selected students, all pursuing an HVAC related course of study during the 2018-2019 academic year, will each receive an award of $2,500.
For the 2018-2019 academic year, 17 scholarships of $5,000 each were awarded to students who are employees or children of employees of Johnstone Supply, studying in a variety of fields. For over 14 years, the scholarship fund, through donations by the Johnstone Supply membership, has supported students in easing the financial burden of higher education.
ATLANTA – Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing has announced more than $25,000 in scholarships to be awarded to local students interested in pursuing a career in the home services industry.
The Rees Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $700,000 to 400-plus deserving students since 2003. Each year, the foundation awards scholarships of up to $2,000 each to qualified students who are enrolled in an HVACR program at an accredited institution.
