Nov. 19, 2004: ASHRAE Seeks Bids On Standard 62.2 User's Manual
ATLANTA - The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is seeking authors to write a manual to help users meet the requirements of its residential ventilation standard. The proposed manual will apply to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 62.2-2003, "Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality in Low-Rise Residential Buildings."
"The manual will assist users in understanding the principles upon which the standard is based, the requirements of the standard, and how those requirements may be met," said David Grimsrud, Ph.D., chair of the Standard 62.2 committee. "It will provide explanations of the standard's requirements and examples of its application."
