SAN FRANCISCO - Markets for solar energy, wind energy, and fuel cells are expected to grow from $16 billion in global revenues in 2004 to more than $100 billion by 2014, according to a report released by Clean Edge Inc., an energy research and publishing firm.
Clean Edge projects that over the next 10 years, markets for solar photovoltaic devices will grow from $7.2 billion to $39.2 billion; wind power installations will expand from $8 billion to $48.1 billion; and fuel cells and distributed hydrogen will grow from $900 million to $15.1 billion.
