NORFOLK, Neb. - Northeast Community College (NCC) recently became a part of the Danfoss support of technical education program.
According to the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI), the HVACR industry needs to train 20,000 new technicians and installers each year. "Our support program has grown from a handful of schools to over 50 that we regularly send components to," said Fred Namei, an application engineer who heads up Danfoss' donation program. "The students get to work with top quality current products, and there is a constant need, since parts are often sacrificed or cut open during class demonstrations."
