DOE Bestows Awards For Saving Energy

The Department of Energy (DOE) recognized 37 federal employees and organizations with the 2003 Federal Energy and Water Management Awards. Their efforts saved the federal government $62 million in one year. The 2003 winners are from the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy; the Departments of Commerce, Energy, Interior, Transportation, Veterans Affairs, and Health and Human Services; the General Services Administration; and the U.S. Postal Service.
