MINNEAPOLIS - Honeywell announced it has signed a $1.4 million contract with Crow Wing County in central Minnesota to integrate and upgrade the county's HVAC systems at three brand new facilities and one renovated county building, including a judicial center, community services center, jail, and central services plant. The company will also install access control and surveillance systems.
On the HVAC side, Honeywell will install new controls in each building. Facilities and parks director for Crow Wing County Mike Kearns and the other administrators will be able to control temperatures and view all the HVAC information from a single EBI station, which will help them quickly diagnose heating and cooling problems, and ensure maximum comfort for residents and workers.
